I created Glacier National Park Hotels Lodging because of a disappointing road trip I once had. The motel was 50 years old, nothing was current, damage was just painted over.

The only thing we could do was laugh as we had just spent 4 days at a Resort in Palm Springs.  We were in shock and the only way for us to deal with it was to laugh it off, plus as we were about to walk around town we noticed a note warning us to be careful of strangers in the parking lot.

Well those types of places are everywhere including here at Glacier National Park. I was just up there touring, and really enjoying this thing called life and decided to help out my fellow travelers with some words, pictures and videos of the area. Generally the Glacier National Park Hotels Lodging inside of the park are in pretty good shape. I think the Park Services keeps a tight leash on the operators. But you will need to keep in mind that these are old buildings, While in the lobby of the Glacier National Park Hotels  Lodging there would be great, I had an interesting conversation with one of the guests, and she was disappointed in the rooms the heating pipes and plumbing were exposed.

The Glacier Park lodge is rustic, she should not have expected it to be modern but I guess that is what she was used to and she should have looked outside glacier park if she wanted modern. The big advantage of staying in a Glacier National Park Hotel is proximity to the driving tours, hiking trails, backpacking, horseback riding, wildlife observing, or just hanging out admiring the beauty of Glacier Park.

What I have done is physically driven around Glacier National Park until the Canadian Border where the park changes name to Waterton National Park then I came back down through Pincher Creek back into the States at Chief Mountain and then back up into Canada at Carway. That’s right two nations got together and created and set it aside for those us smart enough to turn off our televisions and visit these incredible works of nature.

Most of Glacier National Park Hotels Lodging are located in the southern portion of the park. I’ll get more specific later. One of nicer Glacier National Park Hotels at St Mary and not much else. Don’t even think about Browning for Glacier National Park Hotels. There are a few Hotels, cabins, and other lodging in and around East Glacier Park. West Glacier has many more Glacier National Park Hotels and will therefore will be more impacted by people.

As you go south and west your Glacier National Park Hotels Lodging choices become many. You’ll be getting close to Whitefish Montana and Kalispell. Pretty much any name brand Hotel or Motel here will be a safe bet. They will try and take advantage though. I called a Glacier Park Motel 6 around here after I had driven by, I knew they had plenty of rooms left yet over the phone all they could offer me, a single person was The Bridal Suite. Anyone ever booked that room on purpose? I doubt it!

The road around Glacier Park heading north on the 93 from Whitefish is scenic but there are only a few places to stay. Eureka will be your best bet for Glacier National Park Hotels Lodging. There are no Glacier National Park Hotels in Elko but just up the road in Fernie you have some very good choices for Glacier National Park Hotels. Fernie has an upscale Ski Resort and it is gorgeous! For less money there are still some nice Glacier National Park Hotels Lodging inside the town. The Resort is just a few miles from the town so there is no need to stay at the resort if you are not a skier.

There are a few more Glacier National Park Hotels Lodging as you travel from Fernie towards Pincher Creek. I saw a cute B&B along the way and made a short video of it but Your next best choice for Glacier National Park Hotels will be Pincher Creek, they also have a Walmart Super Store that you should stop at, it is the only grocery store I had seen in hours.
